What this is
Frontier Ready is not a feed about frontier labs. It covers the machine-speed agentic transformation of cybersecurity — what changes for a security function when both attackers and defenders operate through advanced models and autonomous agents rather than human-paced processes.
Every item is measured against one question: would a security leader building toward machine-speed agentic defense be worse off not knowing this today? An item earns a place when it does one of these:
- moves a measured interval — time to exploit, detect, contain or remediate
- shows a control failing in a deployed system, or a failure class no control covers
- changes what an enterprise should demand, procure, test or evidence
- changes how the security function is staffed, organized or governed
- is a capability or capacity shift an enterprise must plan against
Each issue carries five to seven items, every claim labelled for provenance, and a rolling watchlist that tracks developments across issues. The feed is vendor-neutral by rule: it recommends capabilities and controls, never products.

Issue 3 — 29 August 2026
Two items close out open watchlist questions with hard confirmation — an independent reproduction of the Claude Code Auto Mode injection gap, and a CISA catalog listing that turns the OpenAI/Artifactory reward-hacking story into a mandatory-patch deadline. The rest track a widening vulnerability-disclosure bottleneck, a second wave of real-world attacks on agent-orchestration platforms, and what c
