Use the Valid-AI-ted Scorer in ChatGPT

How you use the scorer in ChatGPT depends on your plan.

ChatGPT supports the scorer’s SKILL.md format through its Skills feature on eligible plans. Availability depends on your plan and, in managed workspaces, on administrator settings. Steps verified against OpenAI’s help center on October 19, 2026.

Install as a skill: Business, Enterprise, Healthcare and Edu

Download caiq-scorer-v1.1.0.zip. Keep it compressed.
In ChatGPT, open Skills, select Create, then Upload from your computer, and upload caiq-scorer-v1.1.0.zip.
ChatGPT scans uploaded skills before they become available. If the skill is marked Needs Review, review the information shown before using it.
In Enterprise and Edu workspaces, an administrator must allow skills and skill uploading under Permissions & roles. Administrators can also add the skill for the whole workspace from the admin Skills page.
Start a chat, attach a completed CAIQ or AI-CAIQ questionnaire, and select the skill with an @ mention or from + → More. Then send this prompt:

Use the CSA Valid-AI-ted Scorer to assess this completed questionnaire. Confirm the CCM or AICM version, score every applicable question, and produce a scored Excel workbook and summary PDF.

Confirm the exact CCM or AICM version when asked, then download the scored workbook and PDF.

See OpenAI’s Skills in ChatGPT for current details. Custom GPTs are being retired (scheduled for December 11, 2026), so do not build a Custom GPT for the scorer.

Single-chat method: Free, Plus and Pro

Skills are not listed as available on these plans. You can still run the scorer in one chat by attaching its files:

Unzip caiq-scorer-v1.1.0.zip. Inside the caiq-scorer/ folder you will find SKILL.md, prompts/ and reference/.
In a chat with file analysis, attach your completed questionnaire, SKILL.md, the prompt files for your questionnaire type (prompts/caiq/ or prompts/ai-caiq/) and the one reference CSV that matches your framework version.
Ask: Follow the attached SKILL.md and scoring prompts. followed by the prompt above.
Check the question count, framework version, domain totals and disclaimer in the results.

File-upload limits can prevent ChatGPT from reading every scoring file. Do not accept results if any required file was inaccessible.

Skills not visible?

Skills may not be available on your plan, or your workspace administrator may not have enabled them. Use the single-chat method, and do not follow obsolete menu screenshots.

Missing control reference?

Supply the exact reference CSV for the confirmed version; never use guessed guidelines.

Questionnaires are processed under your ChatGPT account’s applicable data-handling settings.
