Install the Valid-AI-ted Scorer in Claude

Install the scorer once as a Claude skill, then use it in any chat.

Skills are available on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans and require Code execution and file creation. On Enterprise plans, an Owner must first enable Skills and Code execution and file creation in Organization settings → Plugins & skills. Team plans have skills enabled by default. Steps verified against Anthropic’s documentation on October 19, 2026.

Install

Download caiq-scorer-v1.1.0.zip. Keep it compressed.
Open Claude and sign in.
Go to Customize → Skills.
Choose the option to upload a skill, select caiq-scorer-v1.1.0.zip, and make sure the skill is toggled on.

Use

Start a new chat and attach a completed CAIQ or AI-CAIQ questionnaire.
Send this prompt:

Use the CSA Valid-AI-ted Scorer to assess this completed questionnaire. Confirm the CCM or AICM version, score every applicable question, and produce a scored Excel workbook and summary PDF.

Confirm the exact CCM or AICM version when asked. AICM 1.0.x and 1.1.x control IDs can mean different things.
Download and review the scored XLSX workbook and PDF summary.

Troubleshooting

Skills menu missing

Check your plan, and on Enterprise ask an Owner to enable Skills. If Claude has moved the menu, see Anthropic’s current Skills documentation.

ZIP rejected

Upload caiq-scorer-v1.1.0.zip exactly as downloaded. Do not upload extracted files, and do not re-compress the contents yourself: Claude expects the caiq-scorer/ folder, with SKILL.md, inside the ZIP.

No downloadable report

Make sure Code execution and file creation is turned on, and ask explicitly for the XLSX workbook and PDF.

Uploaded questionnaires are processed by your AI provider under your account’s data-handling settings. Obtain approval before sharing confidential information.
